Early in the evening, July 4'h, Bertha Weber Mensing passed away at the farm home near Blue Earth. Mrs. Mensing has been suffering from a nerve trouble for sixteen years and has been helpless for the past six years.
Bertha Weber was a daughter of the late Henry Weber and Mrs. Barbara Weber of Decoria and was born here at the farm home Dec 19, 1888. She was baptized and confirmed in St John's Lutheran church. She is also survived by her aged mother, Mrs. Barbara Weber, and two brothers, Fred and John, and one sister, Mrs. Fred Mensing, all of Decoria. Also surviving are three half brothers, William A. and Albert Weber of Mankato and Emil Weber of Rapidan Township. One sister, Mrs. Emma Bunde preceded her in death a few years ago.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Lutheran church at Blue Earth, the local pastor officiating.
