EMIL AUGUST WEBER, 1877 – 1942
Emil A Weber of Mankato Township died at his home Saturday evening after a lingering illness. He was born in Decoria Township August 28, 1876, and was 66 years old.
Funeral services will be held at the St John's Lutheran church of Decoria Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment will be in the Decoria cemetery. The Rev. F Damm and the Rev. E J Kaiser will officiate. Arrangements are in charge of Kelly-Johnson-Boman mortuary.
Mr. Weber farmed in Decoria Township until 1930 when he was appointed supervisor of the Blue Earth county poor farm, and he held this position until March 1 of this year. He moved with his wife to his present home near Eagle Lake. He was married to Anna Lortz January 22, 1900. MFP; 10/12/1942.
