"He had been a farmer, trucker and timberman. He and his wife had been workers in the Manti LDS Temple.
"Survivors: sons, daughters, Arden, John, Mrs. Clem (Charlotte) Barney, all Richfield; Lynn, Royd, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ferral (Clara) Dunn, Carbonville; Bruce, Clinton; Mrs. Gary (Patsy) Davies, Fillmore; Mrs. Fred (Nancy) Samango, Hawaii; 43 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; brother, Deward, Kearns; sisters, Eva Peterson, Colleen Peterson, Ferris hatch, all Salt Lake City; Margie Brian, Loa; LaVell King, Bicknell.
"Funeral services were Friday in the Lyman LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Russell Peterson, conducting. Royd E. White offered the family prayer; Lori White played prelude music and Darvin White gave the invocation.
"Speakers were Roger Barney and Russell white, and tribute was given by Lisa Nelson, with remarks by Lynn White and Bishop Peterson.
"Music included selection by Kevin Dunn; selection by Janell Harwood, Mitzi Lyn Cox, Tera Olsen and Carol Fisher; selection by grandchildren. Scott Barney offered the benediction. Postlude music was by Lana Barney.
"Interment was in the Lyman Cemetery by Springer/Turner Funeral Home Richfield, where Devon Dunn offered the dedicatory prayer.
"Pallbearers were Darvin white, Lex White, Terral Dunn, Gregg White, Terry Barney, Vern White, Royd White, Jr., and Jason Davies. Honorary pallbearers were Royd White, Tav Dunn, Quinn Dunn, Bradley White, Todd Davies, Troy Hundersmark, Darren Barney, Edward Durkee, Samuel Durkee and Jonathan Durkee."
