Clara Emily White Dunn, age 79, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2011.

She was the third child born to Henry and LaVell Oldroyd White in Lyman, Utah at her home. Clara married Ferral A. Dunn on March 5, 1949 in Lyman, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on December 17, 1964, Ferral passed away on January 8, 2003.

She was raised in Lyman and attended school in Wayne county where she graduated from Wayne High School. Clara was an active member of the LDS Church, where she served in numerous callings, she was especially proud of being a diligent visiting teacher. She will be remembered as an excellent cook, especially her pies and she won numerous blue ribbons and awards for her excellent sewing skills. Her greatest love was her family, and always put them first. She loved traveling to the various activities of all of her grandchildren and made her presence known by cheering like only a grandma could do.

Clara is survived by her children: Terral (Debra) Dunn of Richfield; DeVon (LouAnn) Dunn of Price; Hayden (Mary) Dunn of Hayden, Colorado; Kevin (Rita) Dunn of Price; Quinn (Rebecca) Dunn of Pleasant Grove; Darla (Rodney) Lee of Helper; Tav (Janet) Dunn of Fairview; and Tonja (Jeremy) Howa of Austin, TX; thirty-five grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jenny White of Richfield; and Beatrice White of Salt Lake City; siblings: Bruce (Lorraine) White of Sunset; Charlotte Barney of Richfield; John (Beverly) White of Richfield; Royd White of Draper; Patsy (Gary) Davies of Fillmore; and Nancy White of Snowmass, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ferral, two brothers, Arden and Lynn White, brother-in-law, Clem Barney and sister-in-law Lori White, three grandchildren: Christopher, Nicholas, and Kayla.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spring Glen LDS Chapel (1985 West 4000 North, Spring Glen). A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price (680 East 100 South) and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Church prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery in Price.
