Carl E. Armstrong

Funeral services for Carl E. Armstrong of Union City, who died today at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, will be 4 p.m. Saturday in the Hazel Dell Baptist Church, west of Minco. The Rev. John Gottman, pastor, and the Rev. John McDaniel of the Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Hydro, will officiate. Burial will be in the Hazel Dell Cemetery, Under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Home.
Mr. Armstrong was born Jan. 11,1908, in Minco, and lived in this area all his life. He was a retired carpenter. He attend the First Baptist Church in Union City.
Survivors include two sons Carl Dean Armstrong of Union City, and Bob Armstrong of Oklahoma City, six daughters Mrs. Hazel Brinkley, Mrs. Velta Taylor of Edmond, Mrs. Mary Lou Mitchell of Minco, Mrs. Barbara Ann Elkins of El Reno, Mrs. Pam Majka, Miss Karla Armstrong of Union City, two brothers, Adrian of Modesto, Calif., and Cyrus of Union City, two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Morgan of Hinton, and Mrs. Violet Converse of Oak Harbor, Wash., and 10 grandchildren.
