Funeral services were held for Ellen Morgan, at the Pentecostal Holiness Church, Hinton, Oklahoma, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 27, 1987, Rev. Ray Ingram and Rev. Roy Martin officiating.
Ellen Morgan was born on Nov 12, 1905 in Union City, she passed away on Saturday, Oct. 24, 1987 at Maple Lawn Manor in Hydro, Okla. at the age of 81, Ellen lived in the Union City Minco area until 1957. She then moved to Hinton in May 1957.
She united in marriage to Virgil Morgan on April 14, 1927 at El Reno. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1957 at Hinton, Mrs. Morgan was a housewife.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister and 2 grandchildren.
Survivors include four daughters, Nancy Lock of Hinton, Judy Findley, Hinton, Betty Wavada, Yukon, Dorothy Peavler, Hinton, one son, Lester Morgan of CA.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; two brothers, Gilbert Armstrong, Altus, Adrian Armstrong, Ceres, CA; one sister, Violet Converse of Oak Harbor, Wash.
Interment was in the Hazel Dell Cemetery, Minco under the direction of Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, Hinton Okla.
