New Holstein. -- Andrew Greve, 75, passed away Monday at 2 p. m. at the home of his niece, Mrs. John Dekker, after having been ill for several months.
Mr. Greve was born Sept. 27, 1858, in the Town of New Holstein, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Greve, Sr. In 1884 he was united in marriage to Bertha Borman and the couple resided on a farm in the Town of New Holstein and later moved to the city of New Holstein where Mr. Greve conducted a saloon or several years.
Mrs. Greve died in July, 1912, and since June, 1932, Mr. Greve had been residing at the Dekker home.
Survivors are two sons, Hugo, whose destination is unknown, and Bernard, in Texas. Four sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral arrangements had not been made today, pending information from the son, Bernard.
