Robert R. Allison
Robert R. "Johnty" Allison, 77, retired Pennsylvania Highway Department worker, died Tuesday morning in his home in Georgetown following a long illness. A son of David Allison and Elizabeth Allison, he was born Aug. 28, 1873, in Pughtown. He was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church. Mr. Allison leaves his widow, Mrs. Maggie Wright Allison at home; five sons, Raymond R. Allison and Vernon V. Allison of East Liverpool, Theodore D. Allison and Orin U. Allison of Wellsville, and Roy R. Allison of Hookstown; a sister, Cora Allison of East Liverpool, and 15 grandchildren and a nephew. Rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Georgetown Methodist Church by Rev. Mrs. C. V. Hairhoger. Burial will be in the Mill Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the late home.
