Miss Cora Allison

Miss Cora I. Allison, 84, formerly of Hancock County, died Sunday at 7:50 p.m. in the home of her nephew, Vernon Allison, 1716 Pennsylvania Ave., following a five - month illness. Miss Allison was born Sept. 26, 1871, in Hancock County, where she spent most of her life. She had been making her home with her nephew for several years. Her only survivors are nephews. The body was taken to the Welch Funeral Home at Hookstown and will be returned to the Allison home Tuesday. Rites will be held in the Allison home Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. W. P. Jones, pastor of the First Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery near Hookstown. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight and at the Allison Home Tuesday afternoon and night.
