Mrs. Jacob Mikl
Mrs. Frances Mikl, 76, of Coatesville, former resident of Highland Twp., and wife of the late Jacob Mikl, died early Sunday morning in Coatesville Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Austria, Hungry, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Schmidt. She came to this country in 1910 and had resided in Chester County for the remainder of her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, Parkesburg.

Surviving are two sons and three daughters, including Charles Mikl, of West Wood, Jacob Mikl, of Malvern; Mary, wife of Herbert Berstler, of Lyndell, Frances, wife of Aaron McCowan, of Coatesville; and Matilda, wife of Alfred Warren, of Coatesville, with whom she had resided since the death of her husband; also 15 grand children, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Solemn High Mass of Requiem was held on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church in Parkesburg. Rev. Francis Walsh was the celebrant of the Mass. On Tuesday, evening, many friends called at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, to pay their respects. Father Walsh led in the recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m. Interment was in Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Mikl, Jr., William Fleck, William Miller, Oscar Miller, Mike Miller and Russell Conover.
