Funeral Services For Mrs. Crook Held February 25

Funeral services were held at Williams and Lord Chapel in Greenwood at 10 a.m. Friday, February 25, with Rev. Hubert Wallace officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery near Kilmichael.

Mrs. Crook, 89, died Wednesday night, February 23.

She was a member of the Moorhead Methodist Church, the Eastern Star and had formerly lived in Moorhead. She was the widow of W. L. Crook.

Survivors are three sons: William V. Crook of Lyon, Robert A. Crook of Greenville,
and Luther L. Crook of Moorhead; three daughters, Mrs. Floyce Shaw of Oxford, Miss Iola M. Crook of Moorhead and Mrs. Tempy Tingle of Lexington; three brothers, Ashley Austin and Bryan Austin of Kilmichael and Noel Austin of West point; four sisters, Mrs. Maybelle Booth of Kilmichael, Mrs. Virginia Fultz of Whitehaven, Tenn., Mrs. Katie Irwin of Greenville, and Mrs. Elizabeth Corley of Magee; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
