Burial services for Bryant Austin, 82, of Kilmichael were held at the Kilmichael Baptist Church on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 3 p.m. with burial in the Kilmichael Cemetery. The Rev. Bill McCreary officiated the services. Austin died at Kilmichael Hospital on Tuesday. Feb. 19, 1985. He was a retired night marshal.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Sara Carpenter of Winona, Mrs. Billie Whitfield of Hernando and Mrs. Bobby Jacks of Starkville, one son, Cecil Austin of Greenwood: two sisters, Mrs. Beth Corley of Magee and Mrs. Katie Ruth Irwin of Greenville; one brother, Noel Austin of West Point; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Marvell Morgan, Harvey Greenlee, Lenis Pearson, Leon Gatlin, Benny Herr-ing and Bobby Howell Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
