Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Belle Austin Booth were held at 10:30 a.m., May 6, at Nations-Poplar Creek Baptist Church, Revs. H. B. Vinson, James Parper and John A. Wade officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Booth, who was 87 years old, died May 4 at the Kilmichael Hospital.
She is survived by three brothers, Ashley Austin and Bryant Austin, Kilmichael, and Noel Austin, West Point; and three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Fultz, Memphis; Mrs. Elizabeth Corley, Magee; and Mrs. Katie Ruth Irwin, Greenville.
Pallbearers were Hewett Austin, Fred Jefcoat, Percy Jefcoat, Wardell Fultz, Cecil Austin, and Billy Carpenter.
