He was born on September 9, 1897 in Hares Valley, the son of Jesse and Flora (Miller) Querry. He was united in marriage to Pauline Eliza Cornelius on July 3, 1924 in Huntingdon. Mrs. Querry died on March 9, 1982.
Mr. Querry is survived by eight children: Arlene Querry of Elizabethtown; Doyle Querry of Bainbridge; Mrs. Frank (Mary) Zeigler of Shermansdale; Stanton Querry of Mount Union R. D. 1; Mrs. Charles (Shirley) Cobaugh of Elizabethtown; Aubrey Querry of Huntingdon R.D. 1; Wayne Querry of Mount Union; and Evan Querry of Bainbridge. He is also survived by a sister, Mildred Endres, Crawford Apartments, Huntingdon; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Four brothers and seven sisters preceded him in death.
In his earlier years Mr. Querry worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad in he ticket office. Later he was employed by PennDOT as a maintenance worker. He retired in 1957. He was a member of the Christian faith.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 15 from the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home in Cassville. Interment will be made in the Cassville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and on Saturday fro 10 a.m. until the tie of the service.
