Shirley Cobaugh Obituary
Shirley A. Cobaugh, 88, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Friday, May 10, 1935 in Calvin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hayes and E. Pauline (Cornelius) Querry. She was married 68 years to Charles Melvin Cobaugh.

Shirley was a 1953 graduate of Captain Jack High School in Huntingdon. She met her husband while they were both working at Masonic Homes which is now Masonic Village at Elizabethtown. She loved country music and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Stephen M. Cobaugh of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Deborah A. Miller and husband Douglas of Strasburg; three grandchildren: Leslie Gearhart, widow of Derek Gearhart; Natalie Grager and husband Todd; Cole Miller and wife Kelsey; and a brother Wayne Querry and wife Beverly.

Shirley was preceded in death by six siblings: Doyle H., Arlene L., Mary G. Zeigler, D. Stanton, Aubrey L. and Evan B. Querry.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 5th at Etown Grace Church, 305 Anchor Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
