Doyle H. "Clink" Querry, 85, of Sportsman's Club Road, Calvin, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon.
Born October 18, 1926, at Saltillo, he was the son of the late Hayes and Pauline (Cornelius) Querry. He was united in marriage to the former Eva A. Coy March 6, 1948, at Cumberland, Md. Mrs. Querry preceded him in death February 10, 1997.
Mr. Querry is survived by his children, Larry D. Querry and his wife, Connie, Joseph H. Querry and his wife, Barbara, and Judy A. Fitzkee and her husband, Jesse, all of Bainbridge, and Robert A. Querry of Calvin, R.R., four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Querry is also survived by his siblings, Stanton Querry of Mount Union, R.R., Wayne Querry, of Mount Union and Shirley Cobaugh and Evan Querry, both of Elizabethtown.
Mr. Querry was preceded in death by one grandson, one great-grandson, one brother and two sisters.
He was a member of the First Church of God, Saxton.
Mr. Querry was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Navy.
He retired from Donegal Industries, Inc., Mt. Joy, after 25 years as a supervisor in the garment industry.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 26, at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, 245 Seminary St., Cassville, with the Rev. James Thomas officiating. Interment will be made at Cassville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. this evening, Friday, November 25, and one hour prior to the service Saturday.
