Mrs. Blanche B. Dell, 72, of 217 Church Street, Huntingdon, died Friday, July 3, 1964 at 4:30 a.m. in the Geisinger Memorial Medical Center in Danville, where she had been a patient for three weeks.
She was born on February 17, 1892 in Hares Valley, a daughter of Jesse and Flora (Miller) Querry. On June 22, 1911 in Huntingdon she was married by the Rev. J. S. Souser to James F. Dell, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Emory H. Dell of Huntingdon; three brothers, John Querry of Huntingdon; Hayes Querry of Calvin; and Chester Querry of Indiana, Pa.; four sisters, Mrs. Mae Querry of Mill Creek; Mrs. Rosa Pheasant of Cassville; Mrs. John Parks of Huntingdon, R.D., and Mrs. Lloyd Endres of Bedford, R.D. There is one grandson, Robert M.E. Dell of Lockport, N.Y., and two great-grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dell was a member of the First Methodist Church of Huntingdon.
Funeral services will be held from the McClain funeral home in Cassville on Sunday, July 5 at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Elwood C. Zimmerman will officiate. Interment will be made in the Bowman’s Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. on Saturday until the hour of the services the next day. The family will receive callers on Saturday evening from 7-9.
The family requests that no flowers be sent.
