Hubert's son, Hubert Clifford Provence, his brother Arthur Duain Provence,his father John Thomas Provence, and his mother Lollie (Fraley) Provence-Marshall are all buried in this cemetery. Hubert was born in Pushmataha County Oklahoma but by 1925/1927 the family had moved to the area of Burkburnett Texas where Hubert was raised as a young boy with his two brothers Arthur(Dude)and Homer Provence. Hubert and Dude were very close and they really enjoyed spending time with each other especially in their later years of life. Hubert was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II. He worked as a farmer for most of his life throughout central and north Texas. He and his wife Clara were married in 1939 in Texas. He still has family members that live in Burkburnett Texas.
