Thomas Larry Provence was the oldest child of Hubert Monroe Provence and Clara Laverne (Gist) Provence. Larry was born with several Physical and mental handicaps including Epilepsy. The last 5 years of his life he lived in the Abilene State school in Abilene Texas and when he got sick he also died in the Abilene state Hospital of Broncho Pneumonia when he was 16 years old. Thomas was buried in the State cemetery in Abilene Texas. Thomas really never had a chance to live a full life he died way too young. He may be gone from this earth but he is not forgotten.
