He was also known as Tom, Thomas John Provence and J.T. Provence. He died of a ruptered ulcer probably appendix in 1932. He was married to Lollie Fraley about 1919-1920 probably in Oklahoma and they had three sons together in Oklahoma before he died. The three sons are Arthur Duain Provence, Hubert Monroe Provence and Homer Coy Provence. Two of his three sons sons are buried in the same cemetery as their dad,those sons are Arthur Duain Provence and Hubert Monroe Provence. John Thomas Provence parents were John Monroe Provence and Prudy Ann (Dixson) Provence. His father is buried in Paducah Texas and his mother is buried in Buckeye Arizona. His wife Lollie eventually re-married and her last name became Marshall and she is also buried in this same cemetery with her second husband George Marshall. Rest in Peace my grandfather, my wife and I put a headstone on your grave for you about 20 years ago when I started this research. We also left the original homemade rock/stone on you grave that your 3 young son's made for you by hand when they were little boys and hand etched your first name of "Tom" on it for you. Love you.
