Mary Lenora (Provence) McVay is the youngest daughter of John Monroe Provence and Idella T. White. Idella was John Provence's first wife(They were married in 1880 and divorced in 1887 in Wise County Texas). Mary had one sister named Sarah Provence who was born in 1880. Sarah Provence married a man name John Phillip Waller and she is listed in Find a Grave under her married name of Sarah Elizabeth Waller. Sarah is buried in the Crosbyton Cemetery in Crosbtyon Texas.Sarahs death certificate from Texas is on line and it verifies her birth parents as John Provence and Idella T. White

Mary's husband was Robert Watson McVay and they had two children together a son Zadoc McVay and a daughter Laura Lucille McVay. Zadoc died as a young boy and her daughter Laura McVay married a man named James Willis. They never had children and Laura died in 1997 in Arlington Texas.Thus this line of John Provence family with Idella T. White ends here except for the children that his other daughter Sarah had with her husband John Waller. They had many children and grand children and gg grandchildren from their marriage.
