Funeral services for Farris A. Castle, 84, of Stewart were held at Lee Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 1990, with the Rev. W.M. Hull and the Rev. Walter Lee Yeager officiating.
Mr. Castle, a retired farmer, died Friday, March 9, at the residence of his daughter, Ernestine (Tena) Britt of Duck Hill.
He is also survived by his widow, Katie Lou Castle of Stewart, another daughter,Bobbie Nail of Pearl, three sons, Robert Castle of Clinton, Richard Castle of Eupora and Sidney Castle of Stewart: one brother, Harold Castle of Kilmichael; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery at Kilmichael with Lee Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Robert Britt, Albert Britt, Ray Britt, Tony Nail, Jeff Nail, Ricky Castle, Ronald Castle, and Franklin Castle.
