Mr. Terrance Vardaman Castle, 68, of Kilmichael, a salesman for Ad-Craft Corp. died Monday afternoon, April 12, 1976 at the Veterans Hospital in Jackson after a brief illness.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bob Brooks, and Miss Mable Castle, both of Kilmichael; five brothers, Albert Castle of Long Beach, California, Esco Castle of San Jose, California, Harold Castle of Kilmichael, Karris Castle of Lodi, and Jim Castle of Winona, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Castle was a deacon and Sunday school teacher in the Kilmichael Baptist Church, a veteran of WWII in the U.S. Army Air Force and a member of the Winona American Legion Post.
Final rites were held Wednesday, April 14, 1976 at 11:00 a.m., at the Kilmichael Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Smith officiating, assisted by Rev. A. L. Hatten. Burial was in the Kilmichael Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were active deacons of the Kilmichael Baptist Church, Bobby Howell, Harvey Greenlee, Marvell Morgan, Willie Stavely, Ed Wayne Henderson, Lenis Pearson and Lester Barrentine.
Honorary Pallbearers were the inactive deacons of the Kilmichael Baptist Church.
