Services for John F. Castle at Kilmichael
Services for John F. Castle, 88, were conducted September 10 at the Kilmichael Baptist Church with Rev. A. L. Hatten assisted by Rev. Kenneth Sissell officiating. Mr. Castle passed away September 9 at the Kilmichael Hospital after an illness of several months.
Interment was in the Kilmichael Cemetery under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Castle was married to the former Miss Laura Box in February, 1898, who preceded him in death. He was a member of the Kilmichael Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bob Brooks, Kilmichael and Miss Mabel Castle of Jackson; six sons, A. W. Castle, Long Beach, California, P. J. Castle, Louisville, Kentucky, Farris Castle, Lodi, T. V. Castle and H. E. Castle, Kilmichael and F. E. Castle of Santa Rosa, California and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were Juanell Lollar, Willie Stavely, Eugene Allen, William Garrett, Edwayne Henderson and Durward McNeer.
