Ella Addison Wilcox, born on December 29, 1877 and daughter of Edward Wayne and Georgia Ann Burilla Nixon Wilcox, was one of ten children. Ella Wilcox married James Emory Walton on September 18, 1900, before they moved to the Wapanucka Indian Territory in 1901. Over the next sixteen years, they became the parents of ten children. Ella Addison Walton, always the helpful mate of the ever busy and successful James Emory, died on August 31, 1958 and is buried in the Jourdanton City Cemetery.
