Son of Walter Brown & Lula Maude McCormick, he married Erie Lawrence. He was in the Navy during WWII and served in the Philippine's for 8 months during the clean up operations. After the war he farmed and worked for Redstone Arsenal for 3 years. He moved to Michigan in 1954 and remained there until his retirement in 1972. He died of heart attack complications at Falkville Medical Facility.
