A graveside service for Mavene "Beanie" Holt, 84, will be Friday, May 22, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Reverends Jimmy Legg and Wendell Callahan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.

Mrs. Holt died Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at her residence. She was born Wednesday, April 29, 1936, in Lawrence County to Thomas Walter Brown and Lula Maud McCormick Brown. She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Hartselle Medical Center and Baugh Wiley Hospital, prior to her retirement. Mrs. Holt was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary and enjoyed attending the Senior Center at Neel. She was a longtime caregiver to her family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Hoyit Holt; her step-sons, Spencer Holt and Arvel Holt.

Survivors include a daughter, Myra Faulkner of Hartselle; three sons, Jack Holt of Michigan, Howard Holt of Michigan and Wallace Holt of Kentucky; two sisters, Ruth Wallace of Hartselle and Ruby George, Tennessee; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Truman Wallace, Randy George, Josh Reed, Kelly Johnson, Trenton Hart and Dalton Hart.

The family extends "Special Thanks" to Southern Care Hospice.
