Daughter of James Thomas Lawrence & Mary Izola Anders. She married Hubert Brown in 1940. She had four children. After moving to Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1954 she worked for a local hospital until her retirement in the 1970's when she moved to Oak Ride Community. She died of stroke and heart attack at Hartselle Medical Center.
