Funeral for Elmer Freddie Brown, 80, of Hartselle will be Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown, who died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at Hartselle Medical Center, was born July 24, 1928, in Lawrence County to Thomas Walter Brown and Lula Maud McCormick Brown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Dunn Brown; and seven brothers.
Survivors include one stepson, Jimmy Dunn; two stepdaughters, Marie Dunn and Loretta Bryant; three sisters, Ruth Wallace and Mavene Holt, both of Hartselle, and Ruby George of Manchester, Tenn.
