Mrs. Gloria Jean Black Waller, age 75, of West Point, passed away on August 25, 2020. Mrs. Waller was born in West Point, Georgia on September 4, 1944 to the late Cary Andrew Black and Mattie Ezra Price Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Montene Waller Bailey and a number of siblings.
Mrs. Waller retired from the Troup County School System as a Special Education Teachers Aid.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Lee Waller, Jr.; daughter, Teresa Michele Waller Terlisner (Chad); extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with Rev Bryan Geter and Rev. Lamar Womack officiating. Interment to follow at the Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery on Bartley Road. Family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 1:00 pm until service hour at the funeral home.
