SEVEN VALLEYS – Lizzie E. Myers Gladfelter, 85, formerly of the Hanover Junction area, died Tuesday afternoon at the York County Hospital and Home, where she resided for the past eight months. She was the wife of the late Wilbur L. Gladfelter.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Burial will be in Zion (Shaffer's) Union Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 9:30 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gladfelter was born in Spring Grove, a daughter of the late Joseph and Villa Kessler Myers.
She was a member of Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church. Prior to her residence at the home, she was a resident at Manor Care Barley South for 3 ½ years.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty R. Allison, York; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two sisters; Marie Kessler, Seven Valleys RD 1, and Margaret Myers, Lumberville, Pa.
Her pastor, the Rev. Clarence C. Moore, will officiate at the service.
