SPRING GROVE - Clarence Myers, 72, Spring Grove RD 1, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Memorial Osteopathic Hospital, York, Thursday at 8:30 a.m. after having a heart seizure earlier at his home. Husband of Mrs. Edna Dubbs Myers, he has been suffering from a heart condition for some time. Mr. Myers was born in Spring Grove, son of the late Joseph and Willhemina Kessler Myers. A retired farmer, he was employed at York Corrugating Co. for 45 years before retiring in 1968. He was a member of the 25-year club at that plant. Mr. Myers was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Friendship Hose Co., both of Spring Grove, and Stoverstown Fire Co. Also surviving are: Three daughters, Mrs. Harold Deardorff, Mrs. Richard Throne and Mrs. George Smith Jr., all of Spring Grove RD 1; seven grandchildren, a brother, Harry Myers, Hanover RD 3, and four sisters, Mrs. Wilbur Gladfelter, Seven Valleys RD 2; Mrs. Guy Henry, Baltimore; Mrs. Albert Kessler, Seven Valleys RD 1, and Mrs. Leonard Myers, Lumberville, Pa. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St. Interment will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Joseph W. Seitz, Mr. Myers' pastor, assisted by Robert Caldwell, intern pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
