Harry E. Myers

HANOVER – Harry E. Myers, 90, of Hanover RD 2, a retired farmer, died Saturday, February 4, 1984, at the home of his son, Joseph W. Myers, Hanover RD 2. He was the husband of the late Lillie R. (Spangler) Myers.
The service will be 1:30 p.m. today at St. David's United Church of Christ, Hanover RD 2. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick St., is in charge of arrangements.
He was born in York County, the son of the late Joseph and Wilhelmina (Kessler) Myers. He was a member of St. David's United Church of Christ, of the York County Firemen's Association, of Pleasant Hill Fire Company and of Junior Order United American Mechanics Council 60.
Mr. Myers is survived by two sons, George E. Myers, Brodbecks RD 1, and Joseph W. Myers, with whom he lived; a daughter, Florence E. Smith, Jefferson; 25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, and four sisters, Maude Henry, Baltimore; Lizzie Gladfelter, Barley Convalescent Home, York; Marie Kessler, Seven Valleys, and Margaret Myers, Lumberville, Chester County.
Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Robert M. Myers.
