Marie Kessler
Marie Myers Kessler of Seven Valleys RD 1, died yesterday morning at the home of her daughter following a lengthy illness. She was 85.
Mrs. Kessler was a lifelong resident of the Seven Valleys area and was a member of the Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church, Seven Valleys, and its Sunday School.
She was born in North Codorus Township, daughter of the late Joseph and Vilamima Kessler Myers.
She leaves her husband, Albert M. Kessler; a daughter, Norma Jean Leber, Middletown, Dauphin County; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Myers, Lumberville, Bucks County.
Viewing is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. The service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with her pastor, the Rev. J. Thomas Shelly, officiating. Burial is to be in Zion (Shaffer's) Union Cemetery.
