Robert J. Eames, Jr., aged 46, died at 2:15 o'clock this morning at the home of his parents in Harrisville, after a four months' illness. He was born in Almo, Ida., July 4, 1885, a son of Robert J. and Lucy Knight Eames. He had been an active member of the LDS church and was a member of the high priests' quorum of Harrisville. In Idaho, he had been counselor to the bishop of the Almo ward. Mr. Eames was a farmer and had resided in Almo until five years ago, when he moved to Harrisville.

Surviving Mr. Eames are his parents, his widow, Bessie Montgomery Eames, and the following sons and daughters: Robert, Rodney, Darward, June and Kay Eames, all of Harrisville; one grandchild, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Louis D. King, Raymond, Alberta, Canada; Mrs. Allen Stout, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Asael Ward, Almo, Ida.; Mrs. Wesley McMullin, Raymond, Alberta, Canada; William Eames, Ogden; Mrs. Martin T. Harris and Mrs. Alvin Blackburn, Willows, Cal.

Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Harrisville ward chapel with Bishop R. Brown presiding. The body may be viewed at the residence of the parents in Harrisville, Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until hour of services. Interment will be made in the Plain City cemetery under the direction of Lindquist & Sons. Ogden Standard Examiner, August 17, 1931.
