Mrs. Eames was born April 6, 1887, in North Ogden, a daughter of Robert and Ann Chadwick Montgomery. She had lived in Yost and Almo, Idaho, and San Diego, Calif. She moved to Syracuse in 1931 and came to Ogden five years ago.
In 1904, she was married to Robert Eames in the Salt Lake Temple. He died in August of 1931.
She was a member of the LDS Second Ward. She had worked in the Relief Society and MIA in the stake and ward. She had been ward organist in Almo, Idaho.
Surviving are four sons, Robert A. Eames, Salt Lake City; Rodney E. Eames, Syracuse; Darwood (Bill) Eames, Roy; Kay M. Eames, Phoenix, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles A. Montgomery, Brigham City; Heber A. Montgomery, West Point; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Lee, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Pearl Brewerton, Acequia, Idaho.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Syracuse Second Ward Chapel by Bishop Russell Hansen. Friends may call at Lindquist and Sons Mortuary tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the home of Rodney Eames, Syracuse, Wednesday after 10:30 a.m. Interment in Plain City Cemetery.
