Nilsson—Ruby Isabel McMullin passed away in Raymond on Wednesday, December 22nd, 1976 at the age of 84 years, beloved wife of the late Wesley W. McMullin. Born in Almo, Idaho she came to Canada at the age of 17 years where she met and married Wesley McMullin. They lived in Canada for most of their married life. Ruby, as she was known to her many friends, was an active church worker, especially as a primary teacher in the L.D.S. Church. She loved to sing and participated in the church choirs for many years. She was an ardent Red Cross Worker, and a member of the Hospital Auxiliary. She also belonged to the Women's Institute of Alberta where she spent many hours quilting.

She leaves to mourn her passing: one son, Robert of Winnipeg, three daughters, Mrs. Dick (Clarice) O'Brien of Lethbridge, Mrs. Fred (Iona) Turner of Taber and Mrs. Gordon (Deloris) Scoville, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jane Walker McMullin of Salt Lake City; 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Harris of Ogden, Utah, Mrs. Lizzie King of Raymond and Mrs. Opel Blackburn of California and one brother, Will Eames of Utah.

She was predeceased by two sons, Donald in 1941 and Nolan in 1951 and her husband, Wesley, in 1958. She married the late Ernest Nilsson in 1971. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 27th, 1976 at 2:00 p.m. in the Raymond Stake Chapel with Bishop Donald Steed officiating. Interment will follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery. Friends may meet the family from 1:00 p.m. in the lounge of the church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the Temple Cemetery, c/o Mrs. Rowena Meldrum, Raymond.
