Born to Robert and Bessie Montgomery Eames, on October 12, 1908, in Yost, Idaho.

Married Ruby DeLong, November 3, 1951, Salt Lake City. Employed by Long Co. as lead man many years, also for Vulcan Steel and Mark Steel as an estimator. Member LDS Church. Member of Salt Lake Lodge of Elks #85.

Survivors: wife, daughters, Mrs. Len Allen (Dena E. Serio), Ogden, Mrs. John (Susan) Truswell, Mrs. James C. (Marjorie) Newman, Salt Lake City; sons, Robert W. Eames, Roy; Richard T. DeLong, Hawthorne, Calif., 15 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two brothers, serving church missions, Rodney E., Syracuse, Darwood D. Eames, of Roy.

Funeral services will be Monday, 12:00 noon, Larking Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Sunday evening 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery. Deseret News, April 20, 1984
