Roger and Arlene Mary Enedy were married on 19 Oct 1958 at Bayard Methodist Church in Bayard, Columbiana, Ohio.

Olan "Roger" Shively, a retired engineer and Boy Scout volunteer, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 of liver cancer at Maryland Masonic Homes in Cockeysville, Md. The longtime Maryland resident was 88 years old.
Known to his family and friends as Roger, Mr. Shively was born on the farm in Bayard that had been in the family for five generations. His father, Orbie R. Shively, was a Baltimore and Ohio Railroad telegrapher, and both his father and mother, Mary E. Ludi Shively, worked the farm.
Mr. Shively was the last survivor of six children born to Orbie and Mary: Frederick Shively of Canton; Jesse Shively of Beacon, N. Y.; Doris Shively Harlan of Painesville; Janet Shively Susco of Los Alamos, N. M.; and Genevieve Shively Oberholzer of Canton.
Mr. Shively was a 1942 graduate of Minerva High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 1947 in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University where he was active in the ROTC program. He served on active duty with the U.S. Army, Army Corps of Engineers for five years, including a tour in Korea during the Korean War. He remained active in the Army Reserves until 1985, retiring with the rank of lieutenant colonel
Mr. Shively moved to Maryland in 1956 to take a position as a mechanical engineer at Westinghouse where he worked for 33 years in the Aerospace Division until his retirement in 1989. There he met his wife of 55 years, Arlene Enedy nee Shively, and raised a family in Millersville, Md.
In the 1980s, Mr. Shively and his wife bought the Bayard family farm mainly for the purpose of holding family reunions, and rented out some of the farmland for years to the Whiteleather family. Mr. Shively was active with the Boy Scouts and was an adult leader with Boy Scout Troops 768, 813 and 841.
In 1980, he was awarded the Boy Scouts of America Award of Merit and the next year, the Silver Beaver Award by the Baltimore Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Mr. Shively enjoyed collecting, working on and driving classic vintage Plymouth automobiles. He amassed a collection of 11 cars built by the Chrysler Corp. They included a 1940 Deluxe Coup that his father bought new, a 1940 Plymouth Deluxe Convertible, 1947 Plymouth sedan, a 1947 Chrysler Club Coupe and three Plymouth Fury III's from 1965.
The one non-Chrysler was a 1965 Mustang convertible. Mr. Shively, whose cars won awards at several meets, was a member of the Plymouth Owners Club and the Mid-Atlantic Region Plymouth Owners Club.
A 32nd- degree mason, he had been a member for 65 years of the Tubal Lodge F&A.M. of Minerva, and the Scottish Rite and Boumi Temple in Baltimore. He was a member of the Grange, and in 1991, was presented the Golden Sheath Certificate from the National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry for 55 years of service. He and his wife were members of the Harundale Presbyterian Church since 1959 where he served as an elder.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Shively is survived by two sons, David Shively of Leonardtown, Md., and Orbie Shively of Baltimore, Md.; two daughters, Karen Zeigler and Laurel Goodrick, both of Owings Mills, Md.; and by six grandchildren: Adam, Alex and Lauren Shively, and Rachel, Kyle and Jamie Zeigler.
