Woods Cross – George Hatch, 83, died at his residence, 917 S. 8th West, Tuesday , 8:15 p.m., of natural causes.

Born April 28, 1874, in Woods Cross to Orin and Maria Thompson Hatch. Married Lillie Vance, Dec. 18, 1901, in Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Retired doorman for intermountain Theaters. Worked 25 consecutive years as ticket taker a Utah State Fair, retired farmer, high priest South Bountiful Second Ward. Former High Priest Quorum secretary, ward teacher.

Survivors: widow; sons, Lono V., Woods Cross; Golden V. and Ivan V. both of Bountiful; Emerson V., Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Amelia Jackson, Ogden.

Funeral Saturday, 1 p.m., Union Mortuary, Bountiful, Bishop Hatch Howard officiating. Friends call at mortuary Friday 7-9 p.m., Saturday after 11 a.m. Burial Bountiful Memorial Park.
