Amelia H. Jackson

Ogden – Mrs. Amelia Hatch Jackson, 97, 1123-30th St., died at her home Friday of causes incident to age.

She was born Sept. 30, 1862, in Bountiful to Orin and Elizabeth Perry Hatch. She married David Jackson Oct. 12, 1883 in the Salt Lake Endowment House, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mrs. Jackson and her husband homesteaded in Randolph and moved to Logan in 1908. Mr. Jackson died in 1945. She was active in the Church auxiliaries.

Survivors include sons and daughters, Victor O., Belfrey, Mont.; Elmer L., Logan; Frank H., Randolph; Dr. Ren H., Salt Lake City; Wilder D., Richfield; Mrs. Zelda Howells, Paradise; Reed W., Mrs. Esther Trostel, Miss Rhea, all of Ogden; Mrs. Verna Croman, Price; Elgin H., Montpelier, Idaho; 36 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Larkin Funeral Chapel. Friends may call Sunday from 6-9 p.m. and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in Bountiful Cemetery.
