Mrs. Alice Hatch Jackson, 63, of Logan, widow of James Jackson, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Algie Grant, in Salt Lake, Wednesday afternoon of a complication of diseases.
She was born in Bountiful, April 8, 1869, a daughter of Orin and Elizabeth Hatch. She was married to Mr. Jackson in the Logan temple, April 16, 1890 and moved to Randolph, where she lived until Mr. Jackson's death 24 years ago. A year later she moved to Logan, where she had since resided.
Mrs. Jackson was an active member of the church and was a member of the presidency of the Woodruff stake Relief society while a resident of Randolph. Later she was president of the Logan Seventh ward Relief society.
Surviving besides her sister, are the following sons and daughters: Orin J. Jackson, Randolph; Mrs. Elva Fox, Ogden; Vanza Jackson, Logan and Miriam Jackson of Honolulu. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Orin P., James E., Ezra T. and George Hatch, Mrs. Chloe H. Grant, Lizzie Hatch and Mrs. William Moss of Bountiful; John E. and Orval Hatch and Mrs. Grant of Salt Lake; Mrs. Myra Mann of Cowley, Wyo.; Mrs. Amelia Jackson of Logan, Joseph Hatch of Randolph, Walter and Daniel Hatch of Oxford, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p. m. in the South Bountiful ward chapel, Bishop E. T. Hatch officiating. Interment will be in the Bountiful cemetery.
