Golden Vance Hatch, 59, 30 E. 1200 S., Bountiful, died of a liver ailment Wednesday in a Salt Lake hospital.
HE WAS BORN Oct. 10, 1905 in Woods Cross to George and Lillie Vance Hatch. He married Jessie Emery, April 28, 1927 in Woods Cross. He was a mechanic for Mountain Fuel Supply Co., 36 years, a member of the Bountiful 7th ward.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Union Mortuary chapel with Bishop Durant Thompson in charge. Prelude and postlude music was played by Thora Gregory; invocation, Clinton Mills; remarks by Bishop Durant Thompson; organ solo, "The Lord is My Shepherd", by Thora Gregory.
SPEAKER, Don Sparks; Speaker, Davis Watkins; vocal solo, "I Believe", Percy Pratt, accompanied by Mrs. Percy Pratt; speaker, George Ellis; organ solo, "Prayer Perfect", by Thora Gregory; benediction, David Emery. Dedication prayer, Alma Eakle.
Pallbearers were Dan Bertagnole, Lucas Vennena, Richard Miles, Robert Thompson, Marvin Knowles and Robert Peterson.
SURVIVING are his widow; daughter, Mrs. Jay (Dolores) Leatham, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Harold (Pat) Ball, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Bert (Sandra) White, Los Angeles; 6 grandchildren; brother, Lono V., Woods Cross; Ivan V., Bountiful; Emerson V., Salt Lake City.
