Anna married James Frank Stochl on 10 May 1888. They had 12 children who, within the family and locally, were known by their nicknames rather than their given names. James died at home in 1925. Anna was living with her son Wiliam "Sam" Stochl in Cedar Rapids at the time of her death. She was survived by 10 children and about 14 grandchildren. She is buried next to her husband of 40 years.
