Flossie was cremated and her ashes were interred in the cemetery at Neuchatel, Nemaha County, Kansas, about one mile from the "Old Diggings" also known as the Hettie (Carter) Summerville cabin where she was born.
Proceeding her in death were her parents, and siblings Beula Geraldine (Edman) Gaston, Opal Mae (Edman) Noland, Wilbur Otis Edman, Donald Aaron Edman, Andrew "Gump" Edman, Viola Marjorie "Micky" (Edman) Tims, Elton Richard "Tab" Edman, Valorie Helena (Edman) Brown. She is survived by her husband Gary Ascheman, daughter Carla K. Ascheman, grandson James Woodyard, and her siblings William Myrel "Billy" Edman, Gladys Irene Edman, and Peggy Ann (Edman) Eisenbarth.
