Norman E. Rowden, 52, of Iberia died Saturday, July 7, 1990 in a tractor accident on his farm. He was born Aug. 25, 1937 in Miller County to Elmer and Nora May Sloan Rowden. On March 17, 1956 he was married in Iberia to Luella Farrow, who survives at the home.

Mr. Rowden was an auto mechanic and a lifetime resident of the area.

Other survivors include a son, Terry Rowden of the home; two daughters, Sheila LaBrot of Waterloo, Ill. and Betty Drace of Iberia; a brother, Curtis Rowden of Edwards, Ill.; three sisters, Mabel Sloan of Dixon and Marie Ahart and Lorene Workman, both of Iberia; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home in Iberia with the Rev. Floyd Mattocks officiating. Burial was in the Brays Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Norman Rowden Memorial Fund.
