She was born in Porter County, November 16, 1884, the daughter of Oscar and Ella Denison Baird. She married George Blinn on November 2, 1905, and he died May 19, 1940.
She was a member of St. Luke Church, the Washington Township and Center Township Home Demonstration Clubs, and the Isaac Walton League. She attended Valparaiso Teachers College, and at one time taught school in New Mexico.
Survivors include a son, Max Blinn, Wilmington, North Carolina.; three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Nellie) Heavilon, Frankfort rt. 6, Mrs. J. Robert (Neva) Harvey, Danville, Illinois, and Mrs. Herbert (Betty) Friedrich, Frankfort rt. 5; a sister, Mrs. Roy (Ella) Gilpin, Kokomo; a brother, Merton Baird of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
One son, Raymond Blinn, preceded her in death.
Burial is in Bunnell Cemetery, Frankfort, Indiana.
