She attended Scroggy School and graduated in April 1936 from Jefferson High School. She was the last surviving member of that graduating class and was a lifelong Clinton County resident.
She had been a teller at The Farmers Bank 15 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of First Christian Church, Indiana Rural Youth and Flying Farmers.
She was born July 13, 1918, in Frankfort to George and Mamie Dennison Blinn. She married Herbert Friedrich on March 5, 1939, in rural Frankfort, and he died July 11, 1990.
Surviving are a son, Karl (Carolyn) of rural Frankfort; a daughter, Lois (Stan) Anderson of rural Frankfort; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
