Mrs. DeAlice Booth Galbreath, age 92, Route 1, Ailey, Ga., died in the Bethany Home, Vidalia, Ga., on Thursday, March 25, 1993 following an extended illness.

Mrs. Galbreath was a native of Johnson County, the daughter of the late Samuel J. Booth and Sarah Davis Booth and had lived in this area for 89 years. She was a homemaker and the widow of Henry Harrison Galbreath, Sr., a charter member of the New Corinth Baptist Church and a member of the Lyons Senior Citizens Club.

Mrs. Galbreath is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Waller, Vidalia and Mrs. Joyce Cooper, Vidalia; four sons, Devoy Galbreath, Savannah, Reginald Galbreath, Appling, S.L. Galbreath, Ailey and Hilburn Galbreath, St. Simons; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Galbreath were held in the New Corinth Baptist Church on Saturday, March 27, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Corley officiating. Interment followed in the Galbreath Cemetery. Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were Alfred Cooper, Jimmy Galbreath, Mike Waller, Jeff Waller, Terry Galbreath, Duane Galbreath and Parker Waller.
