Mr. Heman Booth Galbreath, age 55, Rt. 1, Ailey, Ga., died Monday, December 15, 1986 at Meadows Memorial Hospital.

The Montgomery County native was the son of the late Henry Harrison Galbreath and DeAlice Booth Galbreath, Ailey, Georgia. He had lived in Montgomery County all of his life and was retired from the United States Post Office. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a Korean Veteran. He was a member of the New Corinth Baptist Church.

Besides his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joan Joyner, Vidalia; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Waller, Vidalia and Mrs. Joyce Cooper, Dublin, Ga.; four brothers, Devoy Galbreath, Savannah, Ga., Reginald Galbreath, Augusta, Ga., S.L. Galbreath, Ailey, Ga. and Hilburn Galbreath, St. Simons, Ga.; one grandson, Tommy Booth Joyner, Vidalia and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Galbreath were held at the New Corinth Baptist Church, Wednesday, December 17, 1986 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Corley officiating. Interment followed in the Galbreath Cemetery. Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Tommy Joyner, Terry Galbreath, Duane Galbreath, Alfred Cooper, Talmadge Joyner and Parker Waller.
